Prinovis UK today announced their move into web-offset production at their gravure production facility in Speke, Merseyside. Following the closure of the Manchester based printer G&H, Prinovis UK have purchased their Goss M-600A press along with associated ancillary equipment including Kodak Prosper 4c personalisation.
Richard Gray, Managing Director of Prinovis UK, says: “This is a prudent and strategic investment by Prinovis UK to secure the production of our regular periodicals and to offer our existing clients a wider range of print based solutions complementing our unique gravure product range. Furthermore, it opens up a number of exciting new markets allowing a wider range of customers to come to Prinovis for a single solution for many of their production needs.”
Prinovis UK started production in mid-2006 and this investment follows the additional FERAG inserting and stitching drum that was installed in late 2017. Prinovis intends to employ a number of former staff from G&H and is glad to help maintain employment levels in the North West of the UK.
