Management

Dirk Kemmerer is CEO of Bertelsmann Marketing Services and also heads the largest profit center Mohn Media as Managing Director. He began his professional career after commercial training and business studies at IBM in Mainz and Hamburg. In 2002, he moved to Arvato Services as a customer manager, where he successfully held various management positions in Germany and abroad in the years that followed. In 2009, he took over as managing director of the Mail & Document Solutions product line, in 2012 he was appointed managing director of the Marketing & Content Solutions strategic business unit, and in 2014 he became managing director of the Arvato Digital Marketing solution group. Three years later, Kemmerer moved the entire business unit to the Bertelsmann Marketing Services, joining the management of Mohn Media as CCO and assuming overall responsibility for Europe's leading offset printing company in 2018. In 2019, he was appointed CEO of the Bertelsmann Printing Group, which since April 2023 is Bertelsmann Marketing Services.

Ulrich Cordes, is CFO of Bertelsmann Marketing Services and, as a member of the Executive Board, also responsible for Sonopress. He studied business administration in Göttingen and then earned his doctorate at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer in 1995. In 1997, he joined Bertelsmann's Corporate Development department as a consultant. In 2000, he became Commercial Director of Bertelsmann Marketing Service and, in 2002, Head of Arvato Direct Services. In 2007, he became Commercial Director of Arvato Services Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and a member of the Executive Board. In 2009, Cordes was appointed Commercial Director of Arvato AG. With the reorganization of Arvato in summer 2015, Cordes had assumed responsibility for the Digital Marketing, Print Solutions, IT Solutions and Replication businesses. In 2016, he was appointed CFO of the Bertelsmann Printing Group, which since April 2023 is Bertelsmann Marketing Services.
